Among these, we find: the protector against ice and water, the synthetic underlayment, the ridge shingles, as well as the underlayment placed around chimneys, vents and roof fans.
High performance asphalt shingles
IKO Dynasty shingle models are ruggedly built and have a very high impact resistance rating. Being the thickest and widest in the industry, they are armed with ArmourZone technology and have a 1-1/4 inch wide nailing strip, which is lined with a heavy wind rip and tear resistant reinforcement. These shingles also resist blue-green algae and UV ray degradation.
Asphalt shingles warranties
The IKO asphalt shingles are covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty (15-year firm protection), by a 10 year blue-green algae warranty, and a limited warranty against damages caused by winds blowing up to 210 km/h. A 50-year limited warranty (to which some conditions may apply) is also offered. A firm extended warranty on the Cambridge and Dynasty shingles is available, as well as Code Plus protection (for Dynasty models only).
